Notes
Screen Flows are designed for direct interaction with users. They display screens that can show information, gather input, or guide users step by step through a process. For example, a Screen Flow could be used in a customer service portal to help an agent complete a troubleshooting checklist.
Autolaunched Flows, in contrast, run in the background without any user interaction. They are triggered automatically by events such as the creation, update, or deletion of a record, or based on a schedule. For instance, an Autolaunched Flow might update related records whenever an account’s status changes.
This distinction ensures that Screen Flows enhance user experience while Autolaunched Flows optimize background automation.
