Intro
Login History is a feature in Salesforce that allows administrators to track user login activity in their org.
To access Login History, go to Setup and search for "Login History" in the Quick Find box. Click on the "Login History" link to open the Login History page.
On the Login History page, you can see a list of all the login attempts in your org, along with information such as the user's name, the login time, the source IP address, and the status of the login attempt. You can also filter the list by date range, user name, and login status.
The login status indicates whether the login attempt was successful or unsuccessful. If the login attempt was unsuccessful, the status will provide more information about why the login failed. For example, if the user entered an incorrect password, the status will indicate "invalid password."
You can use Login History to monitor user activity in your org and to troubleshoot login issues. If you notice any suspicious login activity, you can investigate further and take appropriate action to secure your org.
If you are an admin, you can monitor all login attempts to your Salesforce org and Experience Cloud sites.
The Login History page shows up to 20,000 records of user logins for the past 6 months.
To see more records, download the information to a CSV or GZIP file.
