Notes
We freeze a user in Salesforce when we want to temporarily prevent them from logging in without fully deactivating their account. Freezing a user is useful in scenarios like:
- Suspending access for troubleshooting or security purposes while still preserving the user’s data and settings.
- Investigating issues related to a user's activity without losing their account record.
- Temporarily restricting access before making a final decision on whether to deactivate or delete the user.
When a user is frozen, they cannot log in, but their record remains in the system, allowing admins to review or reactivate the account as needed.
