Notes
To see who has access to a record and to what extent, or whether a user has access or not in Salesforce, you can check the Sharing Hierarchy feature. Sharing rules are the primary factor that determines access to records. By defining sharing rules, you can specify the level of access that each user or group of users has to records. The access levels can be based on the user's role or position in the role hierarchy, as well as other criteria such as ownership or record type. By default, records are only accessible to the record owner and users with roles higher up in the hierarchy. However, with sharing rules, you can grant access to records to users at lower levels in the hierarchy, as well as to users outside the hierarchy altogether. The Sharing Hierarchy feature is a powerful tool in Salesforce for ensuring that sensitive data remains secure while also allowing for efficient and secure collaboration between teams.
